Attorney Barry P. Goldberg, a native of the San Fernando Valley, is running for the Secretary of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association (SFVBA), a local organization dedicated to serving the Valley’s legal community since 1926. Barry has sat on the Board of the Association for the last three years and is currently the Treasurer. After being voted in by his peers as Secretary, Barry intends “to carry on the fine work started by outgoing President Kira Masteller and the progressive vision of the incoming President, Alan Kassan”. Seeing firsthand “the importance of connecting great San Fernando Valley lawyers with deserving legal consumers”, Barry is looking forward to continuing to contribute his experience, expertise, and understanding of the local Valley community.
Attorney Barry P. Goldberg was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, where he now practices personal injury law and helps victims of auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, and more recover the financial compensation they deserve. Barry has always felt that his hometown city has given him so much, and offered a beautiful place to raise his family.
With that in mind, Barry is devoted to giving back to his community. You might recall Barry’s December Charity Donate-a-Thon, where he donated $1000 to four different local charities, picked by you, his fellow community-members!

San Fernando Valley, California – Attorney Barry P. Goldberg donated $1,000 on December 12, 2016 to the LA Family Housing (LAFH) – Christmas Gift Card Program as part of his law firm’s December Charity Donate-a-Thon.
Mr. Goldberg recently met the director at a Blanket the Homeless Program with the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, of which he is the Treasurer. The director shared that the LA Family Housing facility was “transitional” for 90 days and that the organization has been placing families in reasonably priced housing around the Valley after the 90 days. There are hundreds of local families that are scraping by to make rent and buy food, and Christmas gifts for children are at the bottom of the list. The LAFH is trying to get $20 gift cards to give to the parents for each child that is part of the placement, so the parents can provide a Christmas gift.

Mr. Goldberg and his team of legal professionals have achieved record-setting levels of success for their clients, many of them local residents of the San Fernando Valley, and Mr. Goldberg is honored and humbled by the acknowledgment.
Attorney Barry P. Goldberg’s article on the significant changes that came to California courts earlier this summer was featured in Valley Lawyer Magazine. As a personal injury attorney, I see more than my fair share of tragic car accidents. When I represent accident victims (or their families), my team and I work tirelessly to ensure that they receive the maximum financial compensation possible. A born and raised San Fernando Valley resident, I also feel it is important to give back to my community in other ways.
Recently, the Moorpark College Music Department lost one of its extremely talented pianists, Rohith Gopal, in a car accident. In memoriam of Rohith, who was accepted to Berklee College of Music one week after his death, Moorpark College created an annual instrumental music scholarship in Rohith’s name. I played with Rohith for two years and knew him to be an exceptional young man and a great musician.
